Legends Resort & Casino is owned and operated by Cherokee Nation Businesses (CNB). CNB is the tribally owned holding company that is the sole shareholder of Cherokee Nation Entertainment (CNE), a leading regional gaming operator with 10 properties in Northeast Oklahoma, including nine Cherokee Casinos and the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa. CNE also owns and operates the Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica, Mississippi.
Building on the company’s growth throughout the region, Legends Resort & Casino will be CNE’s second commercial gaming operation. Legends Resort & Casino will be more than a $300 million entertainment destination located off Hob Nob Road on land just north of the bustling Interstate 40 between Weir Road (exit 83) and Bradley Cove Road (exit 84).

As a company, we have never performed layoffs, filed for bankruptcy or permanently closed any casino in our 30 years of operation. Even during COVID-19, we gave employees paid leave.
Today, we operate 11 casino gaming properties in markets that are very similar to Pope County. Our hospitality consulting arm is often leveraged by other non-competing tribes and companies who are looking to open casinos.
